Esther E. Miller, age 89, of Rochester, passed away Friday July 7, 2017 at 6:55 PM in Woodbridge Health Campus of Logansport.
Born March 23, 1928 in Fulton County, IN to the late Noble O. and Vernie (Fry) Goodner. On June 18, 1946 in Fulton, IN she married Wayne “Hip” Miller who preceded her in death on February 5, 2012.
Esther was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Rochester and attended the Fulton Baptist Temple.
Survivors include one daughter, Penny Duncan, Rochester; one son, Kenny (Barb) Miller, Rochester; one sister, Dorothy Burton, Peoria, AZ; five grandchildren, Cindy (Tony) Trent, Fulton; Lori (Jeremy) Remley, South Bend; Chris (Dawn) Duncan, Carmel; Matt (Beth) Duncan, Fishers; Jennifer (Patrick) Goins, Cincinnati, OH; six great grandchildren, Tyler Remley, Carly Remley both of South Bend; Parker Goins and Ellie Goins, both of, Cincinnati, OH; Evelyn and Vivian Duncan, both of Fishers; two nieces and two nephews; several great nieces and nephews.
One brother, Walter Goodner, two sisters, Vera Goodner and Mary L. Goodner-Norris, preceded in death.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday July 12, 2017 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Russell officiating. Burial will follow in the Fulton Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM Tuesday July 11, 2017 at Gundrum Funeral Home
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fulton Baptist Temple.
