Etta Putnam

Etta Mae Putnam, age 84, passed away Sunday November 29, 2020 at Franciscan Hospital in Lafayette.

She was born on October 24, 1936 in Logansport, IN to the late Frances and Ethel Miller. On February 3, 1953 she married Donald W. Putnam who preceded her in death on April 27, 2019.

Etta had previously worked at Corral Supermarket, Switches, and T.M. Morris. She attended the Riverview Church of God. Etta enjoyed reading the Bible and listening to gospel music. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include two daughters, Donetta (Tony) Surface, Logansport; Debb (Jim) Ferger, Plymouth; three sons Don Putnam, Dwaine (Teresa) Putnam and Dennis Putnam, all of Logansport; three sisters, Shirley Modrow, FL; Elsie (Avery) Collins, Texas; Linda (Frank) Perrine, Ohio; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

Etta was preceded in death by one brother, Dudley (Mary) Walters and her adopted parents, Adam and Ruth Graf.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday December 2, 202 at the Davis Cemetery near Burnettsville, IN with Pastor Nick Robinson officiating.
