Services for Evelyn Mae Cooley Marler, 80, Logansport, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
She died at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 5, 1928, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Joseph T. and Laura L. Mills Cooley. She was married Jan. 7, 1946, in Logansport to Cecil Thomas Marler, who preceded in death Aug. 22, 1995.
Evelyn retired from the Logansport State Hospital in 1988.
She was a member of Grace Bible Fellowship Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 3790.
Surviving are daughters, Jennifer L. Johnston and husband, Bill, Peru, and Patti S. Thomas and husband, Jim, Twelve Mile; a son, Thomas J. Marler and wife, Natalie, Monticello; 13 grandchildren, Becky Widner, Stephanie Marbach, Alicia Hinshaw and husband, Josh, Jon Doughty and wife, Tricia, Joel Thomas and wife, Summer, Cara Mae Hettinger, Paige Thomas, Allen Thomas and wife, Kristen, Bryan Thomas and wife, Crystal, James Thomas Jr. and fiancé, Heather, Levi Marler, Ethan Marler and Calah Marler; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Cooley, and one sister, Virginia Rhody.
The Rev. William Art Maloney and Pastor Tom Robbins will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
