Evelyn Marie Parker

Services for Evelyn Marie Parker, 92, Logansport, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Mount Hope Cemetery Chapel in Logansport.

She died at 6:20 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2008, in Chase Center.

Born Sept. 29, 1915, in Wabash County, she was the daughter of John and Olive Cory Haupt.

She is retired from Wabash General Tire and Rubber Co.

Surviving are grandson, Richard Landis and wife, LuAnn, Logansport; granddaughters, Connie Burkett, and Karen Peters and husband, Wes, all of Logansport, and Missy Shafer, Michigan; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Richard “Dick” Landis.

The Rev. Scott Ellison will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice.
