Evelyn Williams

Evelyn M. Williams, 88, Logansport, died at 11:20 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born March 10, 1921, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Carl and Marie Gibson Campbell. She was married to Lester Williams, who preceded in death 16 years ago.

Evelyn was a homemaker, and also worked with her husband on their farm.

She attended Blue Ball Church.

Surviving are son, Joe Williams and wife, Darcy, Elkton, Md.; granddaughter, Jodie Williams and husband, Kevin Johnson, Alexandria, Va.; grandson, Jason Williams, Baltimore; nephews, Jerry, Jim, Steve and Gene; nieces, Jan and Lita; and sisters, Margaret Fiedler, Logansport, and Ann Horniman, San Francisco.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Jean Raisor.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Moore officiating.

Burial will be in Galveston Cemetery in Galveston.
