Florence Shaw

Florence L. Shaw, 93, Logansport, died at 7:45 a.m. Monday, Aug. 8, 2011, at Miller’s Merry Manor.

Born Dec. 20, 1917, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Joseph and Nora Martin Rombold. She was married Jan. 28, 1939, in Logansport, to Bernard M. Shaw, who preceded her in death Dec. 26, 1986.

Florence was a homemaker and formerly worked at the RBM.

She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and a 1937 graduate of Logansport High School.

Surviving are daughters, Carol McCullum and husband, Clarence,

Logansport, and Linda Taylor and husband, William, Murray, Neb.; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Lee Shaw; two great-grandchildren; four sisters; three brothers; and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Church of The Nazarene, with Dr. Horace Smith officiating.

Burial will be in Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Gundrum Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Friday at the church.
