Services for Foyvelle âMimiâ Myers, 94, of Logansport, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
She died at 7:32 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born June 1, 1911, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Arthur W. and Bettie Grace Bay Kiesling. She was married in 1930 to Dr. Donald L. Miller, who preceded in death. She was married in 1952 to Walter Myers, who also preceded in death.
Mrs. Myers headed the Jewelry and Hosiery Department at Olsenâs and worked for R.B.M.
Most of her life was spent being a loving wife and mother. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Tri Kappa Sorority, Daughters of the American Revolution and the Eastern Star.
Foy will be sadly missed by her family. She was our inspiration â a truly classy lady. She gave us wonderful standards to follow and supported all of us in our endeavors.
Surviving are one son, Lewis Craig Miller and his wife, Barbara, Twelve Mile; one daughter, Marilyn Howard and her husband, Dr. Joseph Howard, Gulf Breeze, Fla.; two grandsons, Dr. Daniel Howard, Bradenton, Fla., and Todd Miller and his wife, Gretchen, Logansport; three granddaughters, Rebecca Howard, Logansport, Rindy Boedeker and her husband, Staff Sgt. Doug, Wichita, Kan., and Amy Gardine and her husband, Dr. Cyprian, Hammond; six great-grandchildren, Justin Angle, Eberle Miller, Ananda Boedeker, Cecilia Miller, Walter Gardine and Arthur Gardine.
The Rev. Bill Shannon will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. today in the funeral home.
