Frank W. Callaway Jr., age 87, of Logansport, passed away on April 7, 2025, at Logansport Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family.

Born October 2, 1937, in Augusta, Georgia to the late Frank W. Callaway Sr. and Reba Belle (Johnson) Callaway. On December 10, 1960, in New Castle, IN, Frank married Linda Brown who survives.

Frank, better known as “Grits” to his co-workers, was a former maintenance man and jack of all trades for Louisville Cement until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Frank proudly served his country as a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors, including his wife Linda, are his daughters, Suzy (John) Gibson of Logansport, IN and Lori (Bill) Rhoades of Royal Center, IN; three sons, Chris (Sami) Callaway of Logansport, IN, Steven (Julie) Callaway of Logansport, IN, and Kevin (Bobbi) Callaway of Logansport, IN; Several grandchildren; Several great grandchildren as well as great great grandchildren.

Frank was preceded in death by grandson, Blake Alan Callaway, great grandson, Blayne Webb, sister, Mary Jo Rosenberg and his second mother, Aliene Callaway.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday April 12, 2025, in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Foster officiating. A burial, with full military rites provided by the Cass County Honor Guard, will follow in the Davis Cemetery at Burnettsville.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of services on Saturday at the funeral home
