Frank Eugene Myers, 80, Royal Center, died at 4:15 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, in Thomasville, Ga.
Born March 19, 1929, in Royal Center, he was the son of John Howard and Gladys Brown Myers. He was married Nov. 20, 1949, in Logansport, to Mary Hall, who survives.
Frank was a retired farmer.
A 1947 graduate of Lucerne High School, Frank also served on the board of directors for the Farm Bureau Co-Op, and served as the president and secretary on the board of directors of the Pro-Ag Corp. He was a member of the Lucerne Lions Club and attended Shiloh Church of Christ, where he served as a Sunday school teacher and deacon.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Myers; daughter, Rebecca Crane and husband David, Thomasville, Ga., Jan Ford and husband Paul, Madison, Wis., and Marilu Jones and husband Mike, High Point, N.C.; grandchildren, Jamie, Lee and Michael Jones, Jeff Ford and wife Kristie, Allison Ford Antonnaci and husband Tom, and Jacob and Ben Crane; sister, Joyce Rusk and husband, James; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Tamzen Kay Myers, and one grandson, Christopher Frank Crane.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastors Tim McKaig and Richard Utterback officiating.
Burial will be in Cline Cemetery, Royal Center.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
