Frank was born in Winchester, Kentucky on July 7, 1945 and died on May 23, 2010 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana as a result of an accident. He was the son of Albert and Letha Spencer and Herbert and Georgia Napper (Huff). He was preceded in death by his parents. Frank was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association and had a passion for flying and aircraft. He was a devoted brother and uncle to his siblings, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Everyone that knew Frank loved and respected him.
Survivors include his siblings and their spouses Ima Jean (Virgil) Ashley, Clay City, KY. Veda (Carl) Stamper, Winchester, KY, Jeff (Tinah) Spencer, Las Vegas, NV, Lisa (Jim) Coverstone, Huber Heights, OH, and Sue (John) Stamper, Blue Rock, OH.
Visitation will be held at Gundrum Funeral Home in Logansport on Wednesday from 4-8 PM with a graveside service in Clay City, Kentucky on Thursday at 3 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Security Federal Savings Bank in the name of Frank Spencer to help with funeral expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
