Gary A. Settlemyre

Gary A. Settlemyre, age 80, of Logansport, passed away Friday July 21, 2023, in Franciscan Health East in Lafayette, IN.

Born July 3, 1943, in Logansport to the late Paul W. and Olive (Miller) Settlemyre.

Gary retired from Chrysler and enjoyed being a self-proclaimed mechanic.

Survivors include two daughters, Brenda (Lannie) Ryan, Summitville, IN; Holly Tenhundfeld, Cincinnati, OH; one son, Mark (Julie) Settlemyre, New Palestine, IN; three sisters, Carol (Norman) Rhoades, Logansport; Anita Settlemyre, Lafayette; Shirley Settlemyre, Lafayette; one brother, Charles Settlemyre, Logansport; 13-grandchildren; 9-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by one granddaughter.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday July 27, 2023, in the Gundrum Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 am until time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.
