Gay Courtney

Gay Dawn Courtney, 60 of Logansport passed away Monday, September 5, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born on September 8, 1955 in Logansport, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Byron and Shirley (Austin) Wickersham.

Gay was a retired nurse.

Gay enjoyed spending time with her daughter and grandchildren. She was very close to her sister Victoria, who was not only her sister, but her best friend as well. They enjoyed talking and sharing with each other on a daily basis.

Surviving is her daughter, Velesca (Dan) Crowe, Lafayette; grandchildren, Kennedy Courtney, Caleb Crowe and Cameron Crowe, Trevor Crowe; sister, Victoria (Ron) Reeser, Logansport; nephews, Adam Reeser and Michael Wickersham; nieces, Salem Reddington, Moriah Hood, and Heather Wickersham-Willis; several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Keith Wickersham.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 9, 2016 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Ryan Lewellen officiating.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 - 7:00 PM on Thursday Sept. 8, 2016, also in the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Pisgah Christian Church.
