Geraldine âJerryâ Zoubul, 81, Indianapolis and formerly of Logansport, died at 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, at her residence.
Born April 23, 1930, in Smithville, Tenn., she was the daughter of Thomas Walter Harris and Odell Parsley.
She was the former owner and operator of Zoubul Oasis in Logansport. She retired as the dietary supervisor for Indiana School for the Deaf.
She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Logansport. She enjoyed being outside, hunting mushrooms, gardening, collecting butterflies and painting.
She is survived by daughter, Brenda Blakley, Indianapolis; granddaughter, Tami (Zoubul) Clothier and husband, Matthew, Peru; grandsons, James Zoubul, Logansport, and Charles Zoubul and wife, Robin, Royal Center; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Frame and husband, John, Fort Worth, Texas, and Nancy Samuels and husband, Norman, Logansport; and brothers, Bruce Harris, Logansport, Harold Harris and wife, Elsie, Logansport, Ralph Harris, Cartersville, Ill., Grant Harris and wife, Cinda, Fort Wayne, Steve Harris and wife, Sue, Logansport, and Ted Shriver, Logansport.
She was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Zoubul; one brother, Rex Harris; and two sisters, Frankie Seehase and Fredia Couch.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Gundrum Funeral Home, Logansport, with Deacon Juan Rodriguez officiating. Burial will be in St. Johnâs Cemetery, Logansport.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
