Gertrude E. DuBois, 88, Logansport, died at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Logansport.

Born Sept. 18, 1922, in Logansport, she was the daughter of George W. and Hazel Irene Wagner Gust. She was married April 8, 1950, in Logansport, to Marion “Roy” DuBois, who preceded in death Nov. 21, 1990.

Gertrude retired from the Logansport State Hospital where she worked in the Medical Records Department. She had also worked on the Railroad during World War II.

She was a member of New Life Alliance Church in Logansport where she enjoyed singing. She also attended Valley Fellowship Church.

Surviving are daughter, Nancy Moss and husband, Tom, Logansport; son, Jeffrey DuBois and wife, Jamie, Logansport; grandson, Jeffrey D. Moss and wife, Jennifer, Logansport; granddaughter, Rachel Vaughan and husband, Aaron, Logansport; stepgrandson, Jason Gellinger, Logansport; stepgranddaughter, Brittney Gellinger, Logansport; great-granddaughters, Jocelynne Moss and Jenna Moss, both of Logansport; great-grandsons,

Jonathan Moss, Evan Vaughan and Zakkary Vaughan, all of

Logansport; brother, Albert Gust and wife, Elaine, Mcallen, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother, George Gust.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastors Mike Stow and Fred Drye officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Gideon’s or The Valley Fellowship Church.
