Private services were held today at Gundrum Funeral Home for Glen W. Selders, 84, Logansport.
He died at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008, at his residence.
Born Jan. 1, 1924, in Logansport, he was the son of Lewis W. and Viola I. Webster. He was married in 1949 in Burnettsville to Lois C.
Speicher, who preceded in death Feb. 4, 1986.
Glen retired in 1983 after 38 years as an engineer for the Pennsylvania/Conrail Railroad. Glen also worked for the Logansport Parks Department. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in the 35th Infantry Division.
Glen attended the Assembly of God Church, was a life member of VFW Post 3790 and was a 1942 graduate of Royal Center High School.
Surviving are daughter, Cheryl C. Donnelly and husband, Ric, Logansport; several cousins; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Eastburg.
Pastor Andy Weil officiated at the services. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery in Logansport.
