A celebration of life service for Glenda Sue Rans, 53, Logansport, will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Gundrum Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Pongratz officiating.
She died at 10:35 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006 at the scene of a traffic accident.
Born June 15, 1952, in Parkdale, Ariz., she was the daughter of Spence Edward and Pauline Bell Vaughan
On July 1, 1972, she was married in Logansport to Michael Rans who survives.
She was an interior designer and songwriter.
A 1970 Logansport High School graduate, she was a member of First United Methodist Church and was the founder of the Little Childrenâs Ministry at the church. A childrenâs advocate who loved kids, she was a member of BMI and was an avid artist.
Also surviving are one daughter, Candice, Los Angeles, Calif.; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael N. and Jennifer Rans, Columbia, Tenn.; her twin sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Larry Stephens, and two other sisters and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and David Higgins and Georgie and Steve Mock, all of Logansport; two brothers, Keith Dean and his fiancee, Bev Betzner, Peru, and Paul Vaughan, Logansport; her parents, Logansport; her mother-in-law, Velma Rans, Arkansas; one grandson, Jacob Michael Rans, Columbia, Tenn., and several nieces and nephews. One brother, George Wesley Dean, preceded her in death.
