Gloria Austin

Gloria D. Austin, 74, of Logansport, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015 at Wellbrooke of Kokomo nursing home in Kokomo, IN. Born on June 20, 1940 in Estill County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Bunah (Rogers) Spencer. She retired in 2002 from Logan Stamping Inc. and was an avid pianoist. Surviving are four daughters, Cindy Bruce, Delphi; Terri (Mike) Holaday, Kokomo; Michele Austin and husband Brad Hainje, Marietta, GA; Tanya Austin and Fiancé Greg Turner , Logansport; three sisters, Marilyn Melroy, Logansport; Shirley Pickens, Lucerne; Charlene (John) Turner, Logansport; two sister in laws, Edna Spencer, Logansport; Jane Spencer, Cincinnati, OH; fourteen grandchildren, Nicholas (Geni) Bruce, Jenna Deichman, Kaleigh Calisto, Adam Calisto, Eric Calisto, Meghann (Tyler) Dubea, Katherine Holaday, Ashley (Travis) Gregory, Jack Hainje, Grace Hainje, Amelia Hainje, Karlyn Knox, Kelsey Knox and Kori Knox; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dixon and Bob Spencer. A private memorial service will be held for the family at the Gundrum Funeral Home with Mike Holaday officiating.
