Gloria Jane Ott

Gloria J. Ott, age 78, passed away Thursday January 30, 2025, in her residence.

Born April 24, 1946, in Logansport, IN to the late Charles E. and Sarah V. (Shaw) Doran. On April 14, 1967, in Anniston, Alabama Gloria married Gary L. Ott who preceded her in death on October 21, 2016.

Gloria retired as a Title 1 Aide for the Logansport Community School Corporation after eighteen years of service. She was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving three years.

Survivors include one daughter, Dana (Jason) Hoff, New Waverly; one son, John (Joyel) Ott, Logansport; one brother, Richard (Margarita) Doran, El Paso, Texas; one sister, Sally (Steve) Karkkainen, L’anse, MI; four grandchildren, Lilah Ott, Layton Ott, Jason M. Hoff and Dylan Hoff.

A celebration of life service will be held 10:30 am Thursday February 6, 2025, in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Thomas officiating. A burial will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday February 5, 2025, in the Gundrum Funeral Home.

Full military rites will be provided by the Cass County Honor Guard
