Helen Murphy

Helen I. Murphy, 102, of Logansport, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Miller's Merry Manor in Logansport.

Born on August 8, 1912 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Laura (Wysong) Miller. Helen was an avid artist and historian.

Surviving are three grandchildren, Jennifer L. (John) Vietti; Kathy J. (AJ) Rozzi, both of Logansport; Tavish K. Smith, Cocoa Beach, FL; two step grandchildren, Scott (Dawn) Kraud, Logansport; Valerie Bonitatibus, Peru; eleven great grandchildren; two great grandchildren; daughter in law, Janna Shrock, Logansport.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Rose Murphy; son, Charles Shrock; three brothers, and two sisters.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 9, 2015 in the Gundrum Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday.
