Services for Henry Lee Yike Sr., 76, Logansport, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
He died at 8:50 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007, in his residence.
Born May 20, 1931, in Fulton County, he was the son of Arthur W. and Iva Nellie Tracy Yike.
Henry retired as a self-employed construction worker in 1993.
He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3790.
Henry formerly raised and raced quarter horses.
Surviving are daughters, Anna M. Hileman and husband, Bill, Logansport, and Judy Yike, Terre Haute; sons, Ronald Yike and wife, Cindy, and Butch Yike and wife, Helen, all of Logansport; companion, Alberta R. Scofield (Yike), Logansport;14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
One brother, Carl Yike, and four sisters, Elbie Yike, Eretha Higgins, Gladys Roller and Maxine Yike, preceded in death.
The Rev. William Art Maloney will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
