Services for Howard W. Binford, 64, Logansport, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
He died at 2:15 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, 2006, in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born Dec. 31, 1941, in Brenham, Texas, he was the son of Harold and Neida Rabner Binford. He was married Oct. 10, 1992, in Logansport, to Deborah L. Chapman, who survives.
Howard retired from Tyson Foods in 2004, having worked in personnel. He also was previously a senior auditor for Maryland Casualty Insurance.
Howard was a 1960 graduate of Brenham High School,attended Blinn Junior College in Brenham, Texas, and graduated from the University of Houston. Even though he was transferred to Indiana in 1991, his heart never left Texas. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Also surviving are daughters Lisa Meeks, Houston, Texas, and Daphne Shannon, Katy, Texas; grandchildren, Trevor, Mackenzie, Jake and Quinlan, Texas; cousins, Lou Little and his wife, Joyce, Taft, Texas, Oran Little and his wife, Myrtle, Lexington, Ky., Alicia Cluff and her husband, Ron, Mapleton, Utah, Max Rabner and his wife, Lanell, Springville, Utah, and Brenda Rabner, Fruit Heights, Utah.
The Rev. Bill Shannon will officiate at the services.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
