Howard Rentschler, 97, of Fulton, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 at Physicians Regional Healthcare in Naples, FL.
Born on June 17, 1923, he is the son of Robert and Marie (Dice) Rentschler. Howard graduated from Fulton High School. He spent his whole life farming and started this lifelong passion next to his dad.
Howard was married to Betty Sanders; they had been married for 77 years. During those years they worked together milking cows, laying hens, swine, and farming the land they loved. He will be remembered by the farming community for the straight corn rows he could plant.
Howard was also known for the beautiful music he could play on the piano. He played for many years at the Fulton Baptist Temple. He also enjoyed wintering in Florida and soaking up the sun.
Left behind to cherish his memories is his loving wife, Betty Catherine Rentschler; his two daughters, Rhea Wiley and Renee (Bill Eber) Lemaster; grandson Terry Lawson and fiancé Tina See; two granddaughters, Rena Grube and Renna Lemaster all of rural Fulton County.
Per Howard’s request, there will be no visitation. A private family burial will take place in the Fulton Cemetery.
