Ida Gunter

Ida Mae Gunter, 83, of Logansport, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Logansport.

Born on February 18, 1939, in Shawneetown, IL,. Ida is the daughter to the late Jessie Wolf and Elma (Combs) Botarf.  On August 20, 1955, in Logansport, she married Francis E. Gunter who preceded in death on November 16, 2003.

Ida retired from RBM and enjoyed reality TV shows and country music.

Surviving Ida, are five sons, Ricky E. Gunter of Marion; Stephen Gunter of Camden; Jeffery Gunter of Logansport; Brad Gunter of Miami, IN; Terry Gunter of Noblesville; daughter, Carol Ann Kuntz of Peru; step brother, Daniel Botarf of Wheatfield, IN; 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Gunter; and a sister, Jane Linback.

A 3:00 pm graveside service will be held on Thursday July 28, 2022 in the Spring Creek Cemetery.
