Imogene Ledonne

Imogene L. LeDonne, 86, of Walton, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Miller’s Merry Manor of Logansport.

Born on August 21, 1928 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late August and Lela (Gundrum) Petrie.  On November 25, 1948 in the St. Josephs Catholic Church Imogene was married by Msg. Achinger to Francis C. LeDonne who preceded in death on May 13, 2014.

Imogene was a homemaker. She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Indiana Farm Bureau, and Daughters of Isabell. Imogene was a 1946 graduate of Logansport High School and she loved to play cards.

Surviving is one daughter, Diana (Don) Flamino, Kokomo; two sons, Jeff LeDonne, Logansport; David (Cathy) LeDonne, Walton; grandchildren, Derek (Janna) Lynas; Melissa (Bill) Schmadeke; Kyle (Stephanie) Lynas; Josh LeDonne; Christina Truax; and Bradley LeDonne; great grandchildren, Brian LeDonne; Amelia, Hope, Mac and Mesfin Lynas; Tyler and Nathan Schmadeke; Matthew, Luke, and Emma Lynas.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Evelyn Bohlander, Betty Morecraft, and Maxine Coughlin; and four brothers, Charles, James, Robert, and Richard Petrie

A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 26 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Fr. Dominic Petan officiating. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 25, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM with a scripture service to be held at 6:30 pm in the funeral home

Memorials may be made to All Saints Catholic Church.
