Inez Eikelburner

Inez Maxine Eikelburner, 102, of Logansport, passed away Monday April 13,2020 at Millers Merry Manor in Logansport.

Born December 17, 1917 in Cass County Indiana, she was the daughter to the late James O. And Catherine L. (Wolf) Calloway.

On February 17, 1937 in Cass County, IN Maxine married Palmer H. Eikelburner who preceded in death August 24,1977.

Maxine was a 1935 Royal Center High School graduate. She then went on and worked for General Tire Company and retired in 1987 after 25 years of service. She was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church. Maxine enjoyed traveling, yard work, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are two daughters, Catherine (Tom) Hickey, Logansport,IN; Connie (Earl) Peters, Delphi, IN; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding in death is daughter, Carol Trapp, brother, John F. Calloway, two sisters, Freida Acheson and Emma Jean Hartley, and a  very special friend, Eldon Boose.

A private funeral service will be held for immediate family at Gundrum Funeral Home.

A private burial will be in Royal Center Cemetery, Royal Center, IN.

Memorials may be made to the Main Street United Methodists Church.
