Iris Lumbirt

Iris Faye Lumbirt, 89, Logansport, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in her residence.

Born September 13, 1925 in Idaville, IN, she was the daughter to the late Isaac J and Stella (Hunt) Tam.

On September 10, 1949 she married Paul B. Lumbirt who preceded in death July 6, 1997.

Iris worked as a hairdresser. She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church, V.F.W. Post #3790 Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving are six Nephews, Jim Michael, Lucerne, IN; Allen Tam, San Francisco, CA; David Tam, Berkley, CA; Steve Tam, Indianapolis, IN; Dennis Tam, Arizona; Paul Tam, Monticello, IN; two nieces, Margaret Tam, Peru, IN; LuAnn Lumbirt, Fishers, IN, Several great nieces and nephews.

Three brothers and three sisters preceded in death.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 1:00PM at Trinity Episcopal Church with Rev. Clark Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport, IN.

Visitation will be held from 11:00AM till the time of service on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Trinity Episcopal Church.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, Angels of Mercy, or Premier Hospice, Kokomo.
