Iris Ruffner

Iris Iva Ruffner, 91 of Logansport, passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at the McKinney Place in Logansport.

Born on December 8, 1925 in Pulaski, County, IN she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Effie (Clouse) Jones.  On April 24, 1949 in Logansport she married James F. Ruffner who preceded in death on October 20, 1972.

Iris was a homemaker. She loved to watch sports, especially the Indianapolis Colts and NASCAR.  Iris was very committed to reading her devotionals every day. She loved her family and enjoyed all animals.

Surviving is a son, Kenneth (Darla) Ruffner; daughter, Linda (Michael) Albright; granddaughter, Traci Robbins, all of Logansport; great grandsons, Matthew and Jacob Heflin, Walton; and several extended family members.

She was preceded in death by twelve siblings (seven brothers, five sisters); a step son; and a step daughter.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday Dec. 20, 2016 in Mount Hope Cemetery Chapel, burial will follow in cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cass County Humane Society.
