Services for Iva L. Slusser, 84, Logansport, formerly of Walton, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
She died at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008, in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born Dec. 2, 1923, in Shaton, Iowa, she was the daughter of John and Christine Williamson Druger. She was married Sept. 4, 1944, in Freeport, Ill., to Howard W. Slusser, who preceded in death Aug. 7, 1995.
Iva was a homemaker.
She was a member of Camden Chapter Order of Eastern Star, Ladies Auxiliary of Memorial Hospital and Clymerâs United Methodist Church.
Surviving are son, Jerry W. Slusser, Indianapolis; daughter, Patricia Ann Miller and husband, Phil, Walton; sisters, Alvina Stackowiez, Rockford, Ill., and Wilda Sturtevent, Holly Spring, N.C.; sister-in-law, Bette Zollman, Walton; six grandchildren, Doug Winters and wife, Emily, Carmel, Ashley Hissong and husband, Todd, Indianapolis, Brooke Winters, Fishers, Jason Slusser, Las Vegas, and Katie and Kara Slusser, Indianapolis; three stepgrandchildren, Maghan Keller and husband, Kevin, Carmel, Drew and Taylor Miller, Galveston; and three great-grandchildren, Raegan and Reese Hissong and Mason Keller.
Pastor Sharon Walker will officiate. Private graveside services will be held at Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from noon until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children and to the American Cancer Society.
