Jacqueline Albert

Jacqueline “Jackie” Mary Albert, 74, Logansport, died at 11:17 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, 2009, in Chase Center, Logansport.

Born May 9, 1933, in Springfield, Mass., she was the daughter of William Sears and Kathleen Lafferty. She was married on April 26, 1975, in Las Vegas, to Donald Albert, who survives.

She retired as an office worker from GTE after 25 years of service and attended New Waverly United Methodist Church.

Survivors include son, Paul Gormley III, Lafayette; stepson, James Albert and wife Alicia, Rosedale; stepdaughter, Julianna K. Hollingsworth and husband Timothy, Anderson; mother and father-In-law, Theda and Marion Leffel, Logansport; sister-in-law, Diane Hunt and husband Jerry, Logansport; sister-in-law, Linda Dunkleand husband Dave, Logansport; grandsons, Timothy, Steven, Paul, and Daniel Hollingsworth, Anderson; granddaughter, Hannah Hollingsworth, Anderson; grandsons, James, Caleb and Isaac Albert, Rosedale; brother, George Sears and wife Mage, North Andover, Mass.; sisters, Mary Landry and husband Richard, Westfield , Mass., Anne Sears, Windburne, Pa., Kathryn Shelly, Enfield, Conn., and Patricia Minie, Fort Myers, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Gundrum Funeral Home. Pastor Glenn Knepp will officiate.

Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
