Services for Jacqueline Ann Bowman, 50, Logansport, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in First Assembly of God Church, 831 Burlington Ave. in Logansport.
She died at 2 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009, in Greensboro, Ga.
Born Dec. 20, 1958, in Logansport, she was the daughter of James Harvie Sr. and Nancy Shambarger Birnell. She was married Feb. 8, 1975, in Walton, to Randall K. Bowman, who passed away in the same auto accident.
She was a transport officer for Prisoner Transport Service of America. She had also worked for the Cass County Sheriffâs Department and Logansport Police Department.
Jacqueline enjoyed sewing, crafts, camping and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a 1978 graduate of Lewis Cass High School.
Surviving are daughters, Katina A. Lewis and companion, Rick Monroe, Kokomo, and Jennifer D. Bowman and companion, Charles Mullett, Logansport; sister, Kimberly Lugabihl and companion, Steve Davis, Logansport; brothers, Rick Birnell and wife, Lisa, Lucerne, and Jeff Birnell and companion, Jim Sturgis, Indianapolis; sister-in-law, Mareiann Birnell, Logansport; aunts, Viola Smith, Kokomo, and Marge DeWitt, Logansport; uncles, Bob Shambarger, Akron, and Herb Shambarger, Laken; grandchildren, Ronald B. Lewis Jr., Charles Randall Mullett, Ryan Alan Monroe, Tomas A. Pena, Aidan Michael Lewis and Jennifer Hulsizer; great-grandson, Brantley Hicks; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and close friend, Ronald B. Lewis Sr. and wife, Heather, Logansport.
She was preceded in death by one brother, James H. Birnell Jr.
Pastors Jim Spalding and Jim Sparks will officiate. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Cass County.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Gundrum Funeral Home, and one hour before services Monday at the church.
