James Grandstaff

James H. Grandstaff, 72, of Logansport, passed away in his residence on April 28, 2016.

Born November 22, 1943 in Logansport, he was the son to the late Harold William and Mary Belle (Musall) Grandstaff.

Jim retired from Small Parts in 2015 after 21 years. He had also worked at Essroc Cement Plant and was a full time farmer. He enjoyed traveling with Sue, spending time with grandkids and watching them play sports. Jim enjoyed the outdoors, watching the deer and squirrels out of his window.

On May 26, 1963 James married Donna Nulf who preceded in death.. On July 27, 1969 he married Karen Sue Miller who survives.

Surviving along with his wife Sue is three daughters, Tammi (Ken) Lavy, Camden, IN; Kim (Duane) Flora, Delphi, IN; Kim (Murl) Waddups, Logansport, IN; two sons, Tim Grandstaff, Logansport, IN; Tony (Crystal) Grandstaff, Burnettsville, IN; six grandsons, Tucker and Trey Waddups, Logansport; Brandon (Amanda) Zarse Delphi, IN; Brock (Brook) Zarse, Monticello, IN; Andrew Flora, Delphi, IN; Tyler James Grandstaff, Logansport, IN; eight granddaughters, Jenna (Nathan) Glassburn, Galveston, IN; Morgan Lavy, Indianapolis, IN; Miranda Wright, Delphi, IN; Ashlee Flora, Lafayette, IN; Abbee (Ryan) Finn, Trinity, Texas; Allee (Anthony) Popp, California; Allbannee Flora, Trinity, Texas; Anna Grandstaff, Burnettsville, IN; five great grandsons, Easton Zarse, Silas Runk, Cy Popp, Cooper Finn and Carter Finn, two great granddaughters, Havyn Payne, Tylee Payne and one great granddaughter Daisy Zarse coming in June; one sister, Nancy (Milo) Ayers, Michigan; one brother, Bob (Sandy) Grandstaff, Logansport, IN.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday May 4, 2016 at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Long and Pastor David Noel officiating. Burial will follow in Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville, IN.

Visiting hours will be from 4:00PM till 8:00PM on Tuesday May 3, 2016 at Gundrum Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
