James Provo

James Edward Provo, 67 of Logansport, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Chase Center in Logansport.

Born on December 19, 1948 in Lafayette, Indiana, he was the son of Henry and Ruth A. (Collins) Provo.  James retired from the Rochester Wal-Mart and had also worked at General Electric and the Heritage Retirement Center in Fort Wayne.

James enjoyed bowling, nature, and spending time with his family.

Surviving him is a sister, Mary A. Provo; mother, Ruth A. Provo, both of Wolcott, IN; nephew, Glenn (Heidi) Brunner, Colorado; niece, Shawn Skafte, Valparaiso, IN; and ex wife, Margo L. Provo, Rochester, IN.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 PM Tuesday, January 26, 2016 in the Gundrum Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at a later date in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Remington, Indiana.

Visitation will be held from noon until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
