James P. Scott

James P. Scott, 83, of Burrows, IN, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 2:40 pm in his residence.

Born July 28, 1930 in Carroll County, IN, James was the son of the late Thomas B. and Helen (Parks) Scott.
James was married October 16, 1949 in Camden to Joan Wise who survives.

Mr. Scott was a retired Carroll County farmer. He was a member of the Burrows Presbyterian Church, Mt. Zion Masonic Lodge #211, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis and Elks Lodge #66.

Survivors include one daughter, Susan (Bill) Trueblood, Camden, IN; two sons, Richard (Patsy) Scott, Camden, IN; Steven (Vicky) Scott, Camden, IN; five Grandchildren; twelve Great Grandchildren; and two Special Friends, Eileen Berkshire, Logansport, IN and Robert Downham, Logansport, IN.

One brother, John William Scott, three sisters, Josephine Porter, Helen Larsen and Mary Copeland, preceded him in death.

Services will be at 10:30AM, Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Gundrum Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Jerry Long Officiating. Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery near Camden, IN.

Visitation hours will be held at the Gundrum Funeral Home and Crematory from 4:00PM - 8:00PM Tuesday, November 19, 2013.
