Jane Ann Lindley, age 78, of Bradenton, FL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 17, 2021 in her residence.
Born October 2, 1942 in Logansport, IN she was the daughter of the late Gerald D. and Mary Jane (Beale) Lindley.
Jane Ann was a graduate of Butler University, in 1963 with a degree in Russian & Political Science and received her Masters from the University of Maryland, College Park in Library Science 1973.
Jane Ann was formerly employed by the Library of Congress, Asia Foundation, Suna Kirac Library, Koc University Istanbul, Turkey, worked on the digital library for Weil Corneil Medical College in Qatar from 2003 – 2006 and was an International Consultant. She enjoyed reading and jigsaw puzzles.
Survivors include one sister, Nancy Mae McDermott of Bradenton, FL, 5 nieces and 1 nephew.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday April 23, 2021 in the Mount Hope Cemetery Chapel, Logansport, IN with Pastors Bill & Pam Mickler officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to The American Library Association, The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions or Bishops Animal Shelter in Bradenton, FL.
