Janet Nolte

Janet E. Nolte, age 70, of Logansport, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022, in her residence.

Born on December 20, 1951, in Logansport, Janet is the daughter to the late Arthur T. and Audrey (Scheuer) Enyart.  On September 17, 1999, in Clarksville, TN, she married Ronald E. Nolte who survives.

Janet retired as a nurse where she had worked for Logansport Memorial Hospital, the Lafayette Veterans Home and Woodbridge Health Campus.

Surviving along with her husband Ron, is a son, Michael (Carly) Ott, Logansport;  two step sons , Jason (Anita) Nolte; Jody (Lori) Nolte; and step daughter, Jill Nolte all of Logansport; sister, Deb Beattie of Logansport; two brothers, Cecil (Leah) Enyart of Rochester, IN; Mark Mattox of Delphi, IN; sister in law, Carolyn Enyart of Lafayette, IN; six grandchildren, Sierra LaFond, Tabitha Ott, Ella Ott, Ava Ott, Mya Ott, and Owen Ott; four step grandchildren, Garrett Nolte, Grayson Nolte, Nathan Nolte and Adam Nolte; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Ott; sister, Jean Ann Netser; brother, James Enyart and stepmother, Ellie Enyart.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, May 2, 2022, at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Zimmerman officiating. Burial will take place in the Corinth Brethren Cemetery near Twelve Mile.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 PM on Sunday, May 1, 2022, also at Gundrum Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Shriner’s Hospitals for Children.
