Jason Oaks

Jason Oaks, 50 , of Logansport, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020 in his residence.

Born on February 1, 1970 in Indianapolis, Indiana he is the son to Patricia (Gillam) Atkinson.

Jason was a 1990 graduate of Logansport High School and had worked at TRANSCO for over 20 years.

Jason was passionate about his family and friends, especially his granddaughter Eleanor he was the absolute best Father and Grandfather.

He would help anyone in need, he was a friend to so many people and was lucky enough to have some of the best friends around him.

He also loved riding his Harley, and riding with all of his biker friends and Family.

Other interests included playing cards and pool with his buddies. Can't forget playing at the Badlands, mudding, riding four wheelers and snowmobiling.

Surviving is a daughter, Megan Oaks of Logansport, IN; granddaughter, Eleanor Luna, Logansport; mother, Patricia Atkinson, Logansport; two sisters, Peggy (Rob) Kastner of Wabash, IN, Fran Stotler of Logansport, IN; two brothers, Benjamin Overmyer of Logansport, IN, Joe Wallen of IN. Three nephews, Ryan Jones, Benjamin Atkinson, Elijah Wallen and 3 nieces, Kala Jones,, Leah Slater and Lorna Slater

He was preceded in death by a brother; Donald Ray Oaks.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Gundrum Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
