Services for Jeanne L. Ayres, 86, Logansport, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Gundrum Funeral Home. She died at 3:05 P.M. Monday, March 17, 2008 in Chase Center, Logansport.

Born May 10, 1921, in Flora, she was the daughter of Lee and Elizabeth Crumet Ulrey. She was married October 12, 1940 to Donald Ayres, who preceded in death January 6, 1966.

A graduate of Flora High School, Jeanne was retired from United Technologies in 1983 and was an associate member of Sigma Phi Gamma. She also attended First Assembly of God Church, Logansport.

Jeannes favorite thing to do was spend time with her family.

Surviving are Daughters and Sons in Law, Jill & Bill Henderson, Logansport and Janis & Lonnie Brewer, Logansport, Sister Joann Reef, Flora, Granddaughters Heidi & Jim Brown, O’Fallon, IL, Hayley & Tom Hettinger, Logansport, Lori Holderman & Erick Hawk, Peru, Marcy & Matthew Snoeberger, Logansport, and Mandy Iskander & Fiancé Ben Hatch, Indianapolis, Great-Grandchildren Kirsten, Kelsey & Noah Hendrickson, Zachary & Bailee Brown, Justin & Jake Holderman, Jada and Karissa Hettinger and Ian and Aiden Snoeberger.

Pastor Andy Weil will officiate at the services.

Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Gundrum Funeral Home and one hour before services on Thursday.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Burial immediately following services will be at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Flora, IN.
