Jeffery Nicoles

Jeffery J. Nicoles,62, of Logansport passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 3:28 am, at Caring Hands Health and Rehab in Peru.

Born on November 11, 1950 in Logansport, Indiana, he was the son of the late Marvin A. and Baunetta F. (Sink) Nicoles.

Jeffery was a 1969 graduate of Logansport High School, where he played Varsity basketball, and was a NCC MVP pitcher in baseball. He received an academic and athletic scholarship to attend DePauw University, he then received his Bachelors Degree from Indiana University, and his Masters Degree from Butler Univeristy. He spent a lot of his time working on political campaigns for both parties. Jeffery was an avid researcher of Cass County History.

Surviving Jeffery is one brother, Gregory (Judy) Nicoles, Logansport; and one sister, Beverly (Randy) Mitchell, Westfield, IN; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 2, 2013 at the Gundrum Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park in Logansport.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Friday.
Memorials may be made to the Cass County Historical Society.
