Jennifer Lynn Johnston

Jennifer Lynn Johnston, 69, of Peru, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023, in Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru.
Born September 10, 1954, in Logansport, she was the daughter to Cecil Thomas and Evelyn Mae (Cooley) Marler. On March 20, 1982, in Logansport, Jennifer married William M. Johnston who survives.

Jennifer was a 1972 graduate of Winamac High School and was a former manager at Crystal Flash gas station.

Survivors include her husband Bill and three daughters, Becky Maddox, Logansport; Stephanie Marbach, Peru, IN; Alicia (Derek) Sadler, Fort Wayne; one sister, Patti S. Thomas, Logansport; brother, Thomas J. Marler, San Antonio, TX; brother-in-law, Scott (Selena) Johnston, Rochester; four grandchildren, Cory (Nickie Woodson) Smith , Austin Marbach, Ezra (Samantha) Bellanca and Grace Marie Utter; several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; her dear friends, Theresa & Tom Horton and their two daughters, Megan & Joyce. She is also survived by her dear childhood friend Sandy Marocco.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday October 21, 2023, in Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Allen Officiating. 

Visitation will be from 11:00am until the time of the service Saturday at Gundrum Funeral Home.
