Jerry Schnieb

Services for Jerry L. Schnieb, 72, Logansport, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Gundrum Funeral Home.

He died at 11 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, in his residence.

Born Oct. 24, 1936, in Camden, he was the son of Cloyd and Pearl Olive Highland Schnieb. He was married March 6, 1983, in Logansport, to Linda Pugh, who survives.

Jerry was a John Deere mechanic for Grant Implement Co. He enjoyed Sunday football, fishing and camping.

Also surviving are daughters, Kathy Combs and husband, Daryl, Alabama, Carol Hunt and husband, Todd, Georgia, Karen Daily, Logansport, and Joyce Moss and companion, Dennis Harris, Kokomo; sons, Keith Cunningham and wife, Missy, Monticello, and Eric Schnieb and companion, Shelby Allen, Tennessee; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and sister, Susie Bonnell, Monticello.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Joe Schnieb, and one sister, Peggy.

The Rev. Scott Ellison will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
