Joan Jordan

Joan Jordan, 97 of Logansport passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Logansport.

Born on February 23, 1920 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Roy Charles and Blanche Ellen (Whitinger) Kilborn.  On May 31, 1941 in Jellico, Tennessee she married Jack Frederick Jordan who preceded in death on January 20, 1975.

Joan retired in 1987 from the Gift Box after 13 years of service. She is a member of Cross Wind United Methodist Church and the Sarah Hay Group of the Church.

Surviving are two sons, Michael Jordan of Dallas, TX; and Patrick Jordan of Logansport; Grandchildren, Drs. Jennifer Jordan and William Adams, Dallas; Eric Jordan, Tulsa, OK; Jeffrey (Lesley) Jordan, Dallas, TX; Christopher (Wendie) Jordan, Johnson City, TN; Wendy Jones, Logansport; Stephanie (Curtis) Supperd, Kokomo; 11 great grandchildren, Hannah Jones, Christopher Jones, Maloree Justice, Sydney Jordan, Ryan Jordan, Brooke Adams, Luke Adams, Clint Jordan, Clay Jordan, Jack Jordan and Emma Jordan.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Margaret Smith and Mary Kelly; and a daughter in law, Susan Jordan.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, September 8, 2017 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Nick Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be held from 11:30 AM until the time of service on Friday.
