John Drummond

John E. Drummond, 83, of Logansport passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 in his residence.

Born November 5, 1931 in Lake Cicott, Indiana, he was the son of the late John J. and Mildred (Martin) Drummond.  On April 21, 1951 in Logansport he married Beverly J. Swafford who preceded in death on December 18, 2008.

John worked for Logan Machine.  He enjoyed being on his computer, reading, and playing video games with his grandchildren.

Surviving him are three daughters, Dora J (Larry) Smith; Jody L. (Terry) Hayes both of  Logansport; and Dana K. (John) Rusie, Peru, IN; two sons, Mark C. (Dawn) Drummond, Bourbon, IN; Gary L. Drummond, Indianapolis; two brothers, Jerry Drummond, Logansport; Jay Drummond, N.Y; two sisters, Mary Emma Jolly, Logansport; Diane Kinnard, Kokomo; nineteen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, John A. Drummond, two brothers, Tom and Max Drummond; two sisters, Becky Schnepp and Susanne Bolechala.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2015 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Chaplain William Braniff officiating.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.
