John Freels

John Wayne Freels, age 61, of Logansport, passed away Tuesday October 19, 2021 at 5:16 pm in Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born March 28, 1960, in Logansport he is the son of Walter “Bunk” Freels Jr. and the late Joyce A. (Plotner) Freels.

John was married on December 9th 2013 in Iowa to Jerry Duane Davis who survives. He has a 1979 graduate of Caston High School and was employed as a custodian at the Logansport State Hospital.

Other survivors include his brother, Jimmie Joe (Linda) Freels, Peru; sister, Carol Sue Chase, Peru; two nephews, Jason (Pennie) Freels, Rochester; Ty (Cadie) Freels, Peru; two nieces, Jennifer (James) Jackson, Walton: and Sarah Tiffany Rowle) Chase, WI; several great nieces and nephews.

Per John’s wishes there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gundrum Funeral Home and Cass County Crematory.
