Services for John W. Iles, 51, Logansport, will be11 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, Logansport.
He died 5:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis.
Born Nov. 9, 1957, in Logansport, he was the son of Charles E. Tow and Carol Iles. On June 21, 1986, he married Dianna Bollhoefer in Akron.
John worked as a Q.M.A. for the Logansport State Hospital for 30 years.
A 1977 graduate of Logansport High School, he was a member of First United Methodist Church and a former member of Logansport Eagles Lodge 323. John was an avid Indiana Hoosier fan and also loved to watch the Oakland Raiders.
He is survived by his wife, Dianna Iles, Logansport; daughters, Rachel Iles, Olivia Iles and Ariel Iles, all of Logansport; son, Wesley Iles, Logansport; his mother, Carole Palmer, Monticello; brother, Steve Tow, Indianapolis; sisters-in law, Debra Mathias and husband David, Akron, and Donna Runkle and husband Jeff, Rochester; brothers-in-law, Dennis Bollhoefer and wife Andrea, Prescott Valley, Ariz., and Dan Fox and wife Julie, Plymouth; mother-in-law, Rosella Osborn, Plymouth; father-in-law, Marvin Osborn, Plymouth; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles Iles II and Geneva Iles; and an uncle, Charles Iles III.
Pastors Larry Zehring, Bill Shannon and Mike Dominick will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Visitation is 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Gundrum Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the church.
Memorials may be made to the Iles children savings account at Logansport Savings Bank or St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis.
