John Wally

Services for John C. Wally, 42, Lucerne, will be at 7 p.m. Friday in Gundrum Funeral Home.

He died at 7:55 p.m. Aug. 24, 2009, in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born Feb. 1, 1967, in Chicago, he was the son of John L. and Katherine Emanuel Wally. He was married Aug. 6, 2005, in Lucerne, to Kelly J. Green, who survives.

John was formerly employed by Logan Stamping Company. He graduated from Orland High School in Orland, Calif. John was raised by his mother and stepfather during his childhood and spent the summers with his father. John enjoyed camping, fishing, guns, knives and spending time outdoors, especially around campfires. He was a member of Lucerne Christian Church.

Also surviving are his mother and stepfather, Katherine Ison and husband, Mac, Logansport; his father, John L. Wally, Logansport; grandmother, Ruth S. Emanuel, Orland, Calif.; daughter, Jessica Brown and husband, Jason, Goodlettsville, Tenn.; stepson, Jacob Banter, Lucerne; brothers, Douglas Wally and wife, Sandra, Logansport, and Wade Ison and wife, Anita, Indianapolis; granddaughters, Arielle Brown and Mahaley Brown, Goodlettsville, Tenn.; nephews, Drake Wally, Walton, and Jared Wally, Logansport; other nieces and nephews, Amanda, Rosa, Russell, Sophia and Elise; and several aunts and uncles.

Pastor Dirk Raderstorf will officiate.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. until time of services Friday at the funeral home.
