Jonathan Raymond Pattengale, 42, Logansport, went to be with the Lord at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2012, at University of Chicago Medical Center, Chicago.
Born Jan. 11, 1970, in Logansport, he was the son of Marty E. Pattengale and Dian Lyn Wortley.
He was formerly employed at Thompson Enterprises, McDonalds and T.M. Morris Manufacturing.
He was a member of the Eagles Lodge 323. Jon enjoyed bowling, wrestling and video games.
Surviving are three sons, Raymond, Justin and Jon Pattengale Jr., Logansport; stepdaughter, Naquita, Bunker Hill; sister, Marcia Jean Taylor and husband, James, Logansport; brother, Marty W. âBillâ Pattengale, Logansport; father, Marty E. Pattengale and wife, Linda, Logansport; two stepsisters, Patricia Baugh and husband, Mike, Logansport, and Terri Costello and husband, James, Logansport; stepbrother, James Varese, Indianapolis; stepgrandmothers, Wahneta Saulbert, Colburn, and Lucy Burton, Logansport.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dian Lyn Pattengale; two grandmothers, Ida Mae Vernon and Joan Willing; stepgrandmother, Jackie Wortley; and grandfather, John Wortley.
Services will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Ryan Lewellen officiating. Burial will be private at Bethel Cemetery, Logansport.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
