Joy Walker

Joy L. Walker, 64, Logansport, died at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, at her residence.

Born March 9, 1947, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Vernard Townsend and Doris Musall. She was married Nov. 13, 1969, to David L. Walker.

Joy retired from Small Parts after 20 years of service.

Surviving are her husband, Dave L. Walker, Logansport; son, Tim Walker and wife, Shannon, Logansport; daughters, Tammy Walker, Lafayette, and Lisa Walker and Scott Geisler, Logansport; grandchildren, Scott Geisler Jr. and Emma Geisler, both of Logansport, Nickolas Boots, Lafayette, Kyra Walker, Megan Walker and Cheyenne Walker, all of Logansport; stepgrandchildren, Brittanie Boller, Logansport, Brant Frye, Katie Modrow, and Colton Modrow; stepgreat-grandson, Gavin Hill; and sisters, Wanda Willis, Logansport, and Carla Hunicutt, Kokomo.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Dan Townsend.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Gundrum Funeral Home with Chaplain Dolly Bowen officiating.

Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
