Joyce Freels

Joyce A. Freels, 74, of Rochester, IN, passed away at 4:10 pm, Monday, September 23, 2013 in her residence.
Born September 5, 1939 in Cass County, IN, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Marie (Brew) Plotner. On December 11, 1954 in Winamac, IN she married Walter "Bunk" Freels Jr. who survives.
Mrs. Freels worked for Lau Industries in Rochester for 30 years. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving along with her husband is one daughter Carol Sue Chase, Lafayette, IN; two sons Jimmie Joe (Linda) Freels, Peru, IN; John Wayne Freels and Jerry Davis, Logansport, IN; four grandchildren, Jason Freels, Rochester, IN; Jennifer Jackson, Peru, IN; Sarah Chase, Lafayette, IN; Ty Freels, Peru, IN; and Ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, four brothers and one granddaughter.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM on Thursday, September 26, at Grass Creek Cemetery in Grass Creek with Pastor Jerry Winter officiating.
