Joyce Spencer

Joyce Y . Spencer, 75, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 5:00 PM in St. Vincent Heart Center of Indianapolis.
Born August 28, 1938 in Bedford, IN, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Dorothy (Anderson) Cassida.
Joyce retired as a Correctional Officer. She enjoyed crocheting, collecting dolls and yard sale-ing.
Surviving are Five sons, James Stonecipher, Logansport, IN; John Stonecipher, South Bend, IN; Tim Stonecipher, Huntsville, TX; Brian Spencer, New Albany, IN; Mark (Lisa) Spencer, Royal Center, IN; one daughter Patty (Jeff) Moore, Logansport, IN; Twenty grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, Two sisters Marilyn Vernon, Hobart, IN; Shirley Ault, Hobart, IN; and One brother, Dale Cassida, Bedford, IN.
Joyce is preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Billy Jo Cassida.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30PM Friday, September 6, 2013 in the Gundrum Funeral Home, with Pastor Jim Howard officiating. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport, IN.
Visitation will be held from noon until the time of service on Friday.
