Judith Dewitt

Judith Marie DeWitt, age 80, of Logansport, passed away Sunday April 18, 2021 in St. Vincent Hospital of Indianapolis.

Born October 30, 1940 in Idaville, IN she was the daughter to the late Virgil “Pork” and Waunita L. “Lucille” (Hathaway) Geisler. On December 12, 1958 in Star City, IN she married Gilbert Marvin DeWitt who preceded in death on May 10, 2019.

Judy was a lifelong homemaker and a member of Bible Holiness Church.

Survivors include three sons, Brian (Kathy) DeWitt of Logansport, IN; Derrick DeWitt of Lubbock, TX; Brad DeWitt of Logansport, IN; one daughter, Sue Walker of Logansport, IN; one step daughter, Keneta (Dennis) Gaillardet of Leesburg, FL; two sisters, Yvonne (Bob) Maggart, Burnettsville, IN; Sally Martin, Rochester, IN; one brother, David (Diane) Geisler, Logansport, IN four grandchildren, Allison DeWitt, Molly (David) Burkhardt, Casey Brown and Keaton Brown; three step grandchildren; several step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by one son, Bruce Allen DeWitt; four brothers, Doyle, Danny Richard & Michael and one sister, Cheryl.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday April 22, 2021 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor David Bigger officiating. Burial will be in Idaville Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 am until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
